Description
The Beat the Bitter Festival in North Liberty offers this opportunity to enjoy Penn Meadows Park and the 100-foot by 100-foot outdoor ice rink installed on top of the tennis courts! Bring your own skates or borrow skates for free from the Recreation Center (skates are limited). The rink is open to all ages for free public skating from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily during the season (January-March) as long as weather conditions are agreeable. The rink lights will be on from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily. The gates around the rink will be locked if the ice surface does not allow for safe skating. You can check the rink status before you head to the park. This rink will be open each day of the Beat the Bitter Festival (weather permitting).
