The Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department, Macaroni Kid Cedar Rapids and other local businesses have teamed up to offer another annual Back 2 School Bash beginning August 9-14, 2021, at 15 different stops through the Rollin Rec Mobile. Kids in the corridor will receive school supplies donated through various sponsors. Rollin Rec stops also include crafts, games, entertainment and free meals/snacks. DONATIONS:
School Supply Drive! School supplies are being collected to pass out to youth at 15 Rollin Rec stops throughout Cedar Rapids Neighborhoods.
School supplies needed include:
standard ruler
bottle of WHITE glue
box of 24 crayons washable
box of CLASSIC colored Washable markers
composition notebook
1 inch Binder
large eraser or package of pencil top erasers
pair of ear buds (headphones)
pair of Fiskar scissors (metal blade, blunt end)
package #2 pencils (at least 24)
package blue or black pens
package colored pencils
package red pens
small hand pencil sharpener
highlighters (any color)
package of wide lined notebook paper
dry erase markers- low odor only
Spiral notebooks – wide lined- green, red, blue, black
folders: red, blue, purple, green
large glue sticks
Pencil box
