No it's not Thursday, it really is Friday. Sorry for the delay with your newsletter this week. While I was away, my 11 year old son had a bad fall and had to have surgery. You can imagine how hard it was to be away when something happens to one of your babies. Then to come home to a house a mess, never ending emails and school starting- what was I thinking? Needless to say the hubs is in the doghouse. Good news? My son will be ok and they all learned a good lesson- Do what Mom says while she is away. Ahh, the day in the life of a mom. Can be really hard some days can't it?
Over the next couple of weeks you will notice that your calendar is a little light. Everyone is busy with re-arranging schedules, school starting and getting ready for Fall Festivities. Be on the look out for libraries and other venues to have their fall calendars out soon. As soon as we get them, they will be listed for you!

SAVE THE DATE! Parents Night Out will be on September 17th! Keep an eye out for the official announcement. You will not want to miss this night - tickets will be very limited.
Our Merry Not Scary Mall-O-Ween Event will be held on October 31st at Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids from 10am-1pm. For now, you can find more information on our Facebook Event Page HERE. If you would like to be a business vendor at this event, please email charlottel@macaronikid.com.
