Truth. I would much rather get a hand made card from my kids then a store bought one. So I was excited to hear about this new App from American Greetings.
My family was invited to review the new Creatacard Card Maker App for iPad and my daughter was especially excited. This child of mine is known to draw, color and paint multiple pictures a day. When I say multiple, I mean double digits people. Could this app save reams of paper? Worth a try!
This App is designed for kids to make their own cards right on the iPad that you can send directly to your recipient for just $3.49! After downloading, I played with it myself for a bit and have to say am pretty impressed. I know this was made with kids in mind, but I had fun creating a few cards to send to my kids. What kiddo doesn't like getting a card in the mail right? After having my fun, I handed the iPad over to my 6 year old to see if she could navigate on her own. She absolutely had no issues and needed no guidance at all. The cards that this child-o-mine created were Ah-dorable! This app lets you choose from multiple supplies like crayons, chalk, paint, stamps, stickers in all sorts of colors and styles. You can also upload your own pictures and add boarders. Don't have a creative bone? You can choose to make a card with provided pictures and decorations.
I am notorious for not remembering to get to the store, grab a stamp and sending a card on time. This app will help with that as well as sending a more personalized card… for LESS then what I spend at the store. Winner!
Now, if I could only get my iPad back from my daughter.
Download the App today in iTunes and you still have time to get Grandma & Grandpa their cards in time for Grandparents Day on September 7th!
