Fall Leaf Craft

By Danielle Moore, Findlay, Ohio publisher September 21, 2011

With the leaves starting to turn colors, we were in the mood to make our own pretty leaves.  This is a craft that can easily be done by a variety of ages.

Supplies:

Card stock or construction paper

Scissors

Glue

Tissue paper in fall colors

Unsharpened pencil

Instructions:

  • Draw the outline of a leaf or print a maple leaf on the cardstock or construction paper.
  • Cut out the leaf.
  • Cut the tissue paper into small squares.
  • Wrap tissue paper around end of pencil.
  • Apply glue to the tissue paper "point" and then glue to leaf.
  • The youngest child used a glue stick and then just put pieces of tissue paper on the leaf.

And then we had a beautiful collection of fall leaves!
