Kohawk Athletic & Recreation Experience (KARE) is a four-day sports-centered camp focusing on sportsmanship, teamwork, fundamental skill development, and the overall enjoyment of sports. This camp is designed for kids entering grades 2-6 this upcoming fall school year.
Campers will have the opportunity to experience Coe College’s state-of-the-art athletic facilities. This camp will appeal to beginners and intermediates alike. The focus of the camp is to create an environment where kids can understand and appreciate a variety of sports, games, and recreational activities.
All camp activities will be conducted on the Coe College campus and instruction will be given by Coe College coaches and student-athletes. Each day a camper will experience two different “primary sport” activities. They will receive individual and team instruction, skill development through drills, and they will participate in individual competitions and team games.
In addition to the primary sports offered throughout the week, each day campers will have the opportunity to learn and participate in a variety of fun and exciting field games and recreational activities. All of us involved at Coe look forward to offering a fun and energetic sports/recreation experience.
- Grades: 2nd - 6th
- Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm
- Optional Early Drop Off and Late Pick up ($25 total/participant): 8:00am - Drop Off 5:00pm - Pick Up
- Cost: $240 (lunch each day included in college cafeteria)
