1.) Thomas Park (343 Marion Blvd., Marion): Splash Pad (Memorial Day-Labor Day weekends), giant sandbox, open play areas, walking trails, small fishing area for kids, 2 basketball courts, several playgrounds, horseshoe courts, lots of shade and benches, 18 hole disc golf, and picnic shelters. 

2.) Shawnee Park (1101 19th St. NW, Cedar Rapids): Wide open play area, playground, and picnic shelter.

3.) Kent Park (2048 HWY 6, Oxford): Beach swimming (free), fishing, handicap accessible playground, hiking trails, and picnic shelters. 

4.) Guthridge Park (704 Emmons St., Hiawatha): Splash pad, 3 lighted ball diamonds, basketball courts, 2 playgrounds, walking trials, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and several community events held there

5.) City Park (200 Park Rd., Iowa City): Playgrounds, wide open space to run/fly kites, big picnic shelters, mini carnival rides (for a fee), basketball courts, tennis courts, ponds, bocce courts, walking trials and home to Riverside Theatre. 

6.) Bever Park (2700 Bever Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids): Old McDonald’s Farm, 2 playgrounds, pool (season and for a fee), ball diamonds, tennis court and picnic shelter.

7.) Quail Ridge Park (Zeller St., North Liberty): Playground, basketball court, picnic shelter, and ball diamonds.

8.) S.T. Morrison Park (1513 7th St., Coralville): Fishing pond, playground, pool (seasonal only), sand volleyball courts, ball diamonds, tennis courts, picnic shelter.

9.) Wetherby Park (2400 Taylor Dr., Iowa City): Splash Pad (Memorial Day-Labor Day weekends), basketball courts, playground, open field, soccer field, hiking/jogging paths, ball diamonds, and picnic shelters. 

10.) Cherry Hill Park (341 Stoney Point NW, Cedar Rapids): 2 different playgrounds, wide open space, basketball courts, walking trial, swimming pool (seasonal and for a fee), ball diamonds, and picnic shelters. 

11.) Hanna Park (775 Fairview Dr., Marion): Ball diamonds, basketball courts, sandbox, playground. Playground has handicap accessible play areas that can accommodate wheelchairs. 

12.) Centennial Park (St. Andrew’s Dr., North Liberty): Splash pad (Memorial Day-Labor Day weekends), playground, trials, stocked pond and picnic shelter. 

13.) Lisbon City Park (South Jackson St., Lisbon): One of the last wading pools in the state (June 1-Aug. 31), playgrounds, picnic shelter, ball diamonds, and basketball courts. 

14.) Davis Park (899 2nd Ave. NW, Mt. Vernon): Swimming pool (seasonal and for a fee), ball diamonds, batting cages, basketball court, volleyball court, playgrounds, and picnic shelter. 

15.) City Park (700 Linn St., Fairfax): Playground, recently updated bathrooms with changing tables, open play area, tennis courts, ball diamonds, sand volleyball court, half-court basketball, horseshoe pit, and picnic pavilions.
