Lean Seasoned Burger

Ingredients:

- 1 package of lean ground beef (look for 95% lean ground beef, which has only - 2 grams of heart unhealthy saturated fat and 140 calories per 3-ounce patty)
- 1 lb. white button mushrooms, washed and finely chopped
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin and oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon each salt, pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

1. Cook mushrooms and onions in 1 teaspoon of the oil on a large saute pan for about 7 minutes. 

2. Add cooked mushrooms and onions to a large mixing bowl along with all other ingredients. Mash together with your hands to combine all ingredients, then form 4 patties.

3. Add oil to a hot pan or skillet, cooking for about 5 minutes on each side over medium meat. Serve with salad, with onions or avocado, or on whole wheat buns.
