It's that time of year again!!! A NIGHT JUST FOR YOU! Moms, Sisters, Aunts, Grand-moms, and best girlfriends! Come out for a night of pampering and fun hosted by Macaroni Kid Cedar Rapids, Iowa City & Dubuque. We will have amazing appetizers, salad and an assortment of gourmet brick oven pizza's provided by the Cedar Ridge Winery, wine, amazing vendors to shop from, TONS of giveaways, swag bags, raffle to benefit The Teacher Store, DJ from Unique Events, entertainment and more TBA! Join Macaroni Kid for a well deserved "time out" ... for YOU! Seating is very limited. Tickets NOW ON SALE! This event will be supporting The Teacher Store and our Local Teachers! Bring in and donate new school supplies and get a raffle ticket for each donated item! Raffle tickets will be used to enter over 15 prizes including our GRAND PRIZE (TBA). See list below for suggested donations.

About the Non-Profit we are benefiting:
“What is this Teacher Store?” you might be asking yourself. The Teacher Store is a non-profit place where teachers can come to get things for their classrooms. We realize that schools cannot afford to supply everything necessary for each classroom and that often means that teachers end up buying things right out of their own pockets.
So in 2008, Linn Area Credit Union joined forces with the Cedar Rapids Education Association to open The Teacher Store, with the goal of providing classroom materials and supplies at no cost to local educators. In fact, the only form of currency accepted at this store is the Teacher Buck. Educators can earn Teacher Bucks in several ways, including by becoming a member of Linn Area Credit Union, being part of their local union, or even by volunteering at the Teacher Store.
Ideas for donations:
Dry Erase Markers (all sizes and colors)
Glue and glue sticks
Erasers (pencil top and big pink erasers)
Colored Pencils
Crayons (all types of sets)
Markers sets (thin and wide)
Loose leaf paper and spiral paper
Clorox Wipes
Kleenex
Paper towels
Zip lock baggies (all sizes)
Hand sanitizer
Underwear and socks
Paper clips
Clip boards
