Come out and shop and let the kids play!! Macaroni Kid will be at Hawkeye Downs on December 20h for our 4th Annual MK Family Fun Day and Xmas Expo! Bounce house, Face painting lots of free activities for the kids, Stocking Scavenger Hunt, lots of vendors to shop from and of course...SANTA! Yes, we will have a Santa! He will be flying in just for Macaroni Kid and you can take pictures for FREE! Junior Dolls will be performing along with other local groups!
The first 100 families to visit the MK booth will receive a swag bag filled with awesome goodies from local businesses. Children can have fun with our stocking scavenger hunt! They will hunt for the Macaroni Kid daisy at participating booths and give a treat. Is there more?! YES! We will be supporting Cookies for Kids Cancer with our biggest bake sale to date.
We are also helping a great local nonprofit....Families Helping Families of Iowa. They need the following items for their closet that, benefits families foster and adoptive families in the community!! Bring in any of the following and be entered to win a family 4 pack of tickets to a Cedar Rapids Titans Game and other prizes!
They are in need of:
New or gently used warm clothes (infants-teens sizes); winter gear (snowpants, coats, boots, hats, gloves, scarves for infants-teens), new and packaged socks, new and packaged underwear (all sizes), maternity clothing, bedding, diapers, wipes, formula, gift cards (Wal-Mart, Target etc)., white plastic hangers, totes, diaper bags, strollers, gift cards for haircuts, and school supplies.
