Amana- Snoopy!!! The Musical, opens July 17 and runs through August 10 on the Old Creamery’s Main Stage, with shows on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 2:00 pm and on Fridays and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm.
It’s the world according to Snoopy! Come join Charlie Brown, Lucy, Peppermint Patty, Linus, Woodstock, and Sally as they celebrate the wisdom of Charles Schultz and the world’s most famous Beagle in this delightful musical that’s fun for the whole family.
The show is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz Book by Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates, Warren Lockhart, Arthur Whitelaw and Michael L. Grace Music by Larry Grossman, lyrics by Hal Hackady. Originally produced by Arthur Whitelaw, Michael L. Grace and Susan Bloom. Originally directed by Arthur Whitelaw.
The cast includes Morgan Amiel Faulkner of St. Louis, MO, Ryan Gaffney from Chicago, IL, Jeff Haffner of Cleveland, OH, Elijah Jones of Iowa City, IA, Joshua Jones of Greensboro, NC, Sara Kenny of Cincinnati, OH, and Jillian Kuhl of Hazel Green, WI. Live musicians includes: Shari Rhoads of Coralville, IA on piano, Jeanette Welch of Iowa City, IA on bass, and Aaron Wells of Iowa City, IA on drums.
Tickets are $28 for adults and only $10 for kids ages 5 to 18. A reminder that Snoopy!!! The Musical is a part of our regular Main Stage season, and that means children ages 5 and older are welcome to attend.
