SimplyFun is really becoming a staple in our house. We just love their educational and fun games. When we received the Dinosaur Challenge game for our Back 2 School Bash, I was super excited for our kids to try it out. And with Jurassic World being the hot movie, what kiddo wouldn't love this game?
How fun to have a Dinosaur board game! The Dinosaur Challenge game is for 2-4 players from ages 10+. My 7 year old daughter was able to play along with some help from Mom. This game is not only fun, you gain a lizard full of knowledge. The object of the game is to choose "the dinosaur with the correct traits to beat out the other dinosaurs and win the most challenges." This game was a blast and the kids enjoyed the challenges and had no idea they were learning along the way. As always, we highly recommend SimplyFun and their educational games.

"We were given the fun opportunity to review the game Dinosaur Challenge. Upon opening the box, all the children were happy to see a big picture of how the layout of the game should look and were easily able to set it up themselves. Even the non-reader in the group knew she should have 3 cards and felt proud that she could help set up. Before we could start playing, we needed to learn about the traits of the dinosaurs. The color- and symbol-coded traits were very easy to remember, as were the bonus traits. I appreciated that the pictures were straightforward and not cartoon-like, as it made the older boys in our group more interested. Once we got going with the first challenge card, it quickly became clear that all of our various ages of players would be successful at this game. An adult did have to explain what some of the things were (like a stampede, lava, etc.) but the children were able to think about what might help and pick their cards. Adding the points is very easy as you really only count up to 11 or less in any given round, and there's no recording that has to be done on a separate piece of paper because you simply keep the disks. Our games didn't end with tied scores, but it's nice that there are rules in case that happens. Overall a very quick, easy-to-learn, fun game that gets players thinking and problem-solving with each new round. Highly recommended!" ~ Keri Worden
